Hello,

Just thought I'd come and say hi and introduce myself. My name is Angie and I am a new degu owner, having had Merlin and Milo for about a fortnight now. Needless to say I am totally in love with them already! Merlin is about 10 months old and Milo (his Son) is about 3 months old. They are totally different personalities, Milo is a little sweetie and Merlin is a real character who enjoys throwing things round the cage and very vigorous grooming of your fingers (a habit I am trying to get him out of!).

They both now run to the front of the cage as soon as I open the door and in the last day or so they've started trying to push each other out of the way trying to climb on my hand, although only Milo has been brave enough to climb right up my arm so far.

Looking forward to getting to know people on here.

I remember the early days, much prefered them to now as when i open the cage Naboo and Bollo wll spend a few seconds on my hands then try to make a break for the cupboard underneath where the treats are kept!
